Referral Mechanics That Newcomers Keep Getting Wrong
Why some invites never credit, and how to check before you share a link.
Every few weeks the same question lands in the newcomer thread: the invite was sent, the friend signed up, and nothing showed up on either account. Most of the time nobody cheated anyone. The referral simply never met the conditions the program set out quietly in its own help page.

Account age and region checks
Several programs only count referrals from accounts that have been active for a set number of days, or from players in a specific region. A friend who joined yesterday and lives two provinces over can still be a valid invite, just not for that particular offer. Ask one question before sharing: does this program list an account age or a country requirement anywhere in its terms?
One-device limits and shared households
Two people in the same house playing from the same phone or the same network sometimes get flagged as one user. The invite goes through, the reward does not. If you and a family member both play, check whether the program allows multiple accounts per household before you send anything.
The waiting period nobody mentions
Credits often appear days or weeks after the friend completes a first quest, not the moment they register. Members here have posted screenshots of bonuses landing on day nine and day fourteen. If you assume the invite failed and delete the app, you may be walking away from a reward that was still on its way.
Second-step conditions hidden in the flow
Some offers require the invited player to finish a tutorial, reach a certain level, or open the game on a specific day. The referral link works fine, but the credit only fires once that extra step is done. Ask your friend to confirm they completed the onboarding before you assume the link is broken.
What a fair referral program looks like
Clear rules on the page, a visible credit date, and a support channel that answers within a reasonable time. If a program hides its conditions behind three screens or never confirms when a referral counted, that is worth noting in the thread so others can compare.
