Our servers log IP address, browser type, device model and the pages you open. We use this to keep threads loading quickly, spot spam accounts and understand which forum sections get read the most.
Cookies keep you signed in and remember your thread preferences. Analytics cookies record aggregate visit counts. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some forum features may stop working as a result.
Your data is used to run the forum, moderate posts, send account notices and respond to privacy requests. We do not sell member data, and we do not use your posts to build advertising profiles.
We rely on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery and analytics. They process data only on our instructions. If a moderator needs to escalate a suspected scam report, limited details may be shared with the relevant platform.
Account records stay while your profile is active. Posts remain visible after you close an account unless you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted on a rolling schedule.
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, request corrections, or have your account and posts deleted. You may also withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time. Members in the EU and California have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA, including data portability and the right to opt out of certain processing. Write to us and we will respond within a reasonable period.
